“Designed explicitly for outdoor placement, this work was cast and then left in the studio garden for six months before delivery — exposed to rain, frost, and sun — to begin its patination process in the sculptor's own climate. The buyer agreed to document the colour progression annually. Each photograph becomes part of the work's ongoing provenance. The form itself references coastal erosion — a body worn smooth by repetition.”
